The 2 Day Solo is built for riders who want a taste of Volcanic Epic without taking on the full five-day journey. You’ll join the event as the atmosphere builds, riding the final two stages alongside the five-day riders and becoming part of the same premium stage-race experience.
From the rider-favourite trails of Tokoroa to Rotorua’s geothermal finale, this is two days of world-famous volcanic singletrack, food truck lunches, rider support and proper post-stage stories.

2 Day Solo riders join Volcanic Epic for the final two stages of the event: Stage 4 in Tokoroa and Stage 5 in Rotorua. You’ll ride as an individual, start with the 2 Day Solo field and receive your own stage and overall results across the weekend. Awards and categories
Daily podium awards are held after each stage, with non-monetary prize packs for the top three solos in each category. General Classification awards are presented on the final day, with medals for category winners and overall awards for leading solo riders.
