COVID-19 Vaccination
The New Zealand Government has removed the COVID-19 mandates for outdoor events. Any rider may now enter this event regardless of their vaccine status.
What if COVID-19 prevents the event going ahead as scheduled?
In the event that the New Zealand Government reinstate COVID-19 restrictions that prevent the event going ahead, the Whaka 100 to be cancelled for 2022, all participants will have their entry refunded as listed below:
International Participants
All international participants that cannot attended the event due to the COVID-19 boarder restrictions will have their entries rolled over to 2024 Volcanic Epic event at no additional charge.

- 20% refund if the event is cancelled between 28 November 2022 t0 28 February 2023
- No refund if the event is cancelled from 1 March 2023
International Participants
